This blog is set up by the Working Group 5 of a COST Action DigiLitEY (IS1410) that aims to develop a network of researchers focused on the digital literacy and multimodal practices of young children (aged 0-8) (see http://digilitey.eu/ and https://digilitey.wordpress.com/) .
Working Group 5 (WG5), specifically, centres on the methodological and ethical issues in the study of young children’s digital literacies and practices (about the objectives and works of the WG5 see http://digilitey.eu/working-groups/wg5-methodologies/).
In this blog we want to provide an accessible resource in which emerging research and methodological issues in the study of young children’s digital literacies and practices are discussed. We envision “short pieces” written/produced in an accessible language, targeting a wide variety of audiences that might have an interest in these questions (junior researchers and students, policy makers, practitioners, families, etc.).
